While last week's disruption of free speech at Columbia University was regrettable, we hope that cool heads will prevail during another controversial event at the same location on Oct. 11th.
The objective of this upcoming event is to expose, by way of personal testimonies, issues that are vital to the safety of America and Western Civilization and not give opinions.
It is important for the students--our future leaders--as well as today's leaders and the general public to be able to hear Messrs. Shoebat, Anani and von Campe's compelling life stories.
It doesn't matter what your political views are. "The Islamic-fascists will kill you whether you are from the left or the right; whether you are a Jew, a moderate Muslim or a gentile," Mr. Shoebat says. "The Walid Shoebat Foundation contends that many of the professors who teach at Columbia are in sympathy with the Islamo-fascists."
Mr. Shoebat gives the following examples:
"The only true heroes are those who find ways that help defeat the U.S. military," says Nicholas DeGenova of the Anthropology department at Columbia . DeGenova also says that "Americans who call themselves 'patriots' are white supremacists."
"CNN should be held accountable for 'war crimes' for one-sided coverage of Sept. 11, 2001," says Hamid Dabashi of Columbia 's Middle East Studies Department. Debashi says that he doubts the existence of Al Qaeda and questions the role of Osama Bin Laden in the 9/11 attacks.
The Walid Shoebat Foundation intends to take back the educational institutions from the extremists who teach at our universities. It also intend to educate the American public about the dangers of Islamo-fascism.
People without a Columbia University ID who wish to attend must RSVP in advance by sending their names to shoebatatcolumbia@gmail.com . Deadline Tuesday October 10th, 5 pm.
